The Opportunity

If you excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this role will take responsibility for providing a full generalist HR service. You will join a team of HR Consultants and HR Administrators in our North West Office working predominantly across Manchester and Liverpool.

You will have responsibility for your own allocated client base, providing pragmatic HR support to those businesses.

Key Accountabilities of the HR Consultant

  • Employee Relations (inc. high volume case management).
  • Confident in all aspects of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Account management.

The Person

  • Proven generalist HR experience working within an HR environment.
  • Graduate calibre and ideally CIPD qualified (or equivalent), you will have worked within fast paced and challenging businesses.
  • Although a Generalist, your career to date will have included high levels of Employee Relations case management.
  • Evidence of a solid and comprehensive employment history within HR.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal driven individual.
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
  • Have a hands-on approach whilst being able to flexibly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Established HR professional credibility with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A passion for delivering a first-class service.
  • Good commercial awareness.

Further details

  • Salary – £35,000 – £40,000
  • Holidays – 25 plus Bank Holidays
  • Commission scheme
  • Full-time role
  • Office/client site based, with hybrid working

T&Cs

  • Need to be a driver/have access to vehicle.
  • Minimum 5 years HR Management experience or equivalent.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to attend client sites across the Northwest, mainly Manchester and Liverpool.
