Skydiving, conquering mountains and camping in the Grand Canyon, these are just a few of the feats HPC’s Director of Operations, Lucy Brady has endured in the name of raising money for Claire House Children’s hospice.
Having trekked through the arctic, scaled Kilimanjaro and ascended through the Inca Trail, Lucy isn’t showing any signs of stopping in her efforts to continue to support the Merseyside based children’s Hospice, we can only imagine what’s next on her list of challenges.
HPC take great pleasure in supporting and representing Claire House, a Hospice on the Wirral dedicated to helping seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. As of June 2017 Lucy, with the help of the HPC team has raised upwards of £30,000 for the Hospice.
On June 20th the money raised by Lucy’s daring (and often dangerous) challenges was used to pay for a full day of care for the hospice, helping support the treatment and care needed by the children at Claire House.
HPC’s dedication to Claire House has roots within our workplace also, with our own clothes day fund being added to the contributions. You may or may not have heard of HPC’s Christmas Bake-Off, our yearly event to raise further funds for the hospice and also a great opportunity to gobble some delicious cakes and treats (keep an eye out for the dates for this year’s bake-off on our Twitter).
