Your responsibility in fire safety

Fire safety should be at the forefront of every business. Fires can be detrimental and cause significant damage, injury and death, and put companies out of business.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, all non-domestic premises need to have an adequate, up-to-date fire risk assessment. Without one, you do not only endanger people’s lives, you face possible prosecution, and the kinds of fines and reputational damage that could prove fatal to your business.

We can support you with your requirements to help you remain compliant and reduce the risk of fire in your premises.

Fire Risk Assessments

Fire Risk Assessments

We can conduct fire risk assessments for all non-domestic buildings including shared accommodation and HMOs, hospitality venues, factories, warehouse, and offices.

A fire risk assessor will visit on-site to conduct a fire risk assessment of the building or area of your responsibility.

Our assessor will evaluate your fire records, emergency evacuation procedures and, where necessary, any permit to work systems that may be in place.

Following the fire risk assessment of the building or area of responsibility, a documented fire risk assessment will be drawn up, which will include a list of any significant findings and an action plan for corrective action.

Our documented fire risk assessment will contribute towards reducing the risk of fire occurring and ensure compliance with current fire legislation, but will also ensure that you have appropriate precautions and safeguards in place to protect building users.

Our Assessors are qualified and technically competent to conduct fire risk assessments. They are trained to carry out fire risk assessments and provide guidance in accordance with British Standards.
